Arts and Culture
Arts and Culture Program is dedicated to preserving, promoting, and celebrating African cultural heritage through music, dance, storytelling, traditional attire, food equity, language, and artistic expression. We believe that culture connects generations, strengthens community identity, and creates opportunities for education, creativity, and belonging.
Our program provides platforms for youth, Women, Men ,families, and community members to learn, practice, share, and celebrate their cultural traditions. Through cultural festivals, live performances, workshops, and community gatherings, we showcase the rich diversity of African cultures, with a special focus on preserving and promoting Abagusii heritage while embracing the broader African diaspora.
We engage young people in traditional and contemporary artistic activities, encouraging them to discover their talents, develop leadership skills, build confidence, and take pride in their roots. We also create opportunities for cultural artists and performers to share their skills, connect with audiences, and contribute to the preservation of traditional knowledge.
